A story of a mother at a hospital (without a HIS System in place)!

Mum gets discharged from hospital 1 week ago. Was given appointment to see the doc today. Medicines was adjusted only to last for a week.

Mum takes a cab, travels all the way, arrives today at the doc’s clinic for a review and to get medicines. The nurse clinic gets a shock!

Nurse says, doc has No appts for today, and no one told her about it. Mum humbly shows her appt card, as given by the ward nurses.

Doc’s nurse starts cursing the ward’s nurse, interviews my mum on her discharging, shows a sore face and says mum needs to wait for 2 hours.

What’s the moral of the story? And who do yo blame? From a HIT point of view? The hospital should have a effective HIS in place.

And let me know if you are interested to know which hospital in this. (btw, its a private hospital)
