Finally Microsoft Office 2010 has entered the Cloud Computing arena…

Wondering how successful will they be, since Google has a 2 year head start?

Cloud Computing Feature:

“All you have to do is post your documents online via Windows Live SkyDrive to access, view, and edit – either alone or with others – with Office Web Apps from anywhere you have Internet access.”

Other interesting feature:

1. Power point over the browser:

All applications have been bolstered with new features. PowerPoint, for instance, has a Broadcast Slide Show feature which allows the presentation to be broadcast through the web browser to a remote audience. Users can view the slides even if they don’t have PowerPoint installed on their machines.

2. Microsoft Outlook – Conversation view (akin to GMail! ) :

With Outlook you can track and manage e-mail messages better, thanks to a feature called Conversation View. This feature lets you condense, categorise, and even ignore lengthy e-mail exchanges.”
