It is funny to hear that the following statements from this article:
http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2370106,00.asp

“Microsoft has been working on this technology for 30 years, he said. ”

The technology which Gutierrez is refering to are – “Microsoft technology, he continued also “enables people to see their calendar and e-mail contacts on their phone, and to manage their calendar and contacts from whatever device they are using.” Smartphones must also handle multiple apps at once, and manage memory efficiently, Gutierrez said.”

This is really funny considering that a mass use of email on the desktop DID NOT start till the early 80s and the mobile phone was only invented a couple of years before that.

And whats even funnier is that Mobile was only widely used about 10 to 15 years ago. And Email/Calendaring on mobile did not start till 12 to 10 years ago.

So to say that Microsoft was working on this ever since 30 years ago, is exaggerating it a bit.
